As many of you love to walk we thought it would be a great opportunity to share a weekly walk!
Locally, there are many beautiful walks- most of which can be done straight from the campsite, so no car is needed. Many of these walks also link to our local pub, The Farmers Arms, so you can stop by for a cold drink on your way home.
However, if you fancy an alternative walk, Walking Brecon Beacons have many other options.
The Walk
The Diving Board
A walk along the beacons that takes you to the ‘Diving Board’
Time
4 hours there and back
Directions
- Drive to Talybont waterfalls car park (DO NOT PARK HERE)

THE DIVING BOARD (where the three peaks are) Pass the car park on your left, until you reach the car park behind (which is to the left, at the big bend around the hill)
- Park here
- Then go back across the cattle grid and up the storey and steep path to your right
- Walk all the way up her til you reach the top peak
- Once at the top, turn right and follow the ridge all the way around until you meet a small stone pile at a junction
- Turn left here and continue along the ridges
- Follow the ridge until you’re at the ridge where you will be able to three edges of the beacons (refer to photo)
- The diving board is at this ridge!
- Once you have taken in the view and had something to eat and drink, or taken photos etc, just head back the same way you came!
