At Cwmdu Campsite, we are hopeful that camping in the UK will be one of the most viable and reliable options for getting away for a short break or holiday in 2021. Early signs are indicating that although a return to complete ‘normality’ may not be possible for some time in 2021, camping in the Brecon Beacons provides a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, get active and remain socially distant from others.
We’ve all had to spend a little bit too much time indoors this year and now might just be the best time to start planning an active, adventurous, scenic staycation in one of the Brecon Beacons’ best campsites.

We have WiFi across the site, we’re dog friendly, we have an on-site shop stocking essentials such as firewood for your campfire and charcoal for that BBQ we’re all eagerly waiting for (we currently have snow on the mountains here but one can dream!).

From hiking, horse-riding, wild swimming, climbing, trail running, caving, paddle boarding, to star gazing (we’re in an international dark skies site). Visit historical sites, castles, market towns and superb pubs and cafes. Cwmdu, Crickhowell, and our surrounding area has so much to offer, you’ll need at least a week to enjoy it all.
