Over the weekend, new Local Brewery Antur opened its doors for the first time in Crickhowell! The event was a spectacular success with full tables all weekend, Friday-Sunday. We’re very excited to have such a fantastic brewery right on our doorstep which serves delicious local lager, ale, mead, cider and more.
The brewery is located in our local business industrial estate, Elvicta, a short walk from Crickhowell. It provides a great location for sitting outside in the sunshine to enjoy a beer and also has weekly food pop-ups such as The Mex Co and The Pizza Box Hay. Over the coming weeks, Lance and the team at Antur have planned loads of food pop-ups and we will be posting about them on our Facebook and Instagram page regularly.
The most exciting part about this local brewery Antur opening up is that we are now stocking cans of their lager, session pale ale and black IPA in our campsite shop!
Grab a can to try the different varieties on-site when you visit or if you are in the area and the brewery is closed – we welcome people stopping in and using our shop and coffee trailer!
If you want to visit the brewery from us, we have a print out of a guided walk along the river usk to Crickhowell available to borrow in reception which takes around 1.5 hours. We recommend tabletaxis if you’re looking for an easy five-minute car journey to get there!

HOLIDAY COTTAGES INFORMATION
We now have 4-holiday cottages you can book throughout the year!
Ty Ffynon Loft is a newly renovated loft apartment next door to Cwmdu Campsite in Wales. It offers stunning views from the garden, an easy walk to our local pub, and is dog friendly. Perfect for solo travelers or couples.
Efail Bach is a one-bedroom cottage, with stunning views from the garden. A large comfortable bathroom with a separate bath, and a large shower. Located right next to the campsite if you have family camping.
Efail Isaf is a three-bedroom cottage that sleeps 6 in a quaint old-blacksmiths house (Old Smithy). This house has a wonderful garden for a family BBQ or sunbathing (we do some lovely weather through the summer!). It also has a log burner for cosy nights in front of the fire.
