Cwmdu Campsite offers the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful hills and valleys of the Rhiangoll valley, even if you would prefer not to bring your own tent. We have a range of glamping options available to our customers.
Shepherds Huts
‘Olive’ and ‘Eric’ (named after the family members who founded the campsite!). The Shepherd’s Huts are a perfect glamping option for romantic breaks, solo travellers, or convenient rest stops for dog owners, walkers, and cyclists. Ideally suited for two adults and are dog-friendly.
They both include:
- Day bed that pulls out into a comfortable double bed.
- Bathroom with shower, toilet, and basin.
- Hot plate, kettle, fridge, cutlery, crockery, and pans.
- A heater
- Decking with outdoor table and chairs.
- Space to park one car outside.
Log Pods
The Glamping Pods at Cwmdu Campsite are perfect for romantic breaks, family holidays, or convenient rest stops for dog owners, walkers and cyclists.
Our Glamping Pods are ideally suited for two adults. They are dog-friendly and there is also plenty of additional floor space for a travel cot or double air mattress. Ideally suited for two adults and are dog-friendly.
They both include:
- Indoor table and chairs that convert to a comfortable double bed.
- Kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, mugs.
- A heater
- Decking with BBQ and outdoor chairs.
- Space to park one car outside.
Bell Tent
July and August only.
This 5-metre tent provides an easy way to camp without the need to set up a tent when you get here. It can sleep up to four people comfortably.
They both include:
- Electric sockets
- 2 large air mattresses
- Table, deck chairs x 4
- Kettle, and cups, and a water jug.
- Blankets.

HOLIDAY COTTAGES INFORMATION
4* Dog-Friendly Holiday Cottages in the Brecon Beacons, 4 miles from Crickhowell and all within 50 yards of Cwmdu Campsite.
We have 2 cosy cottages available to book:
- Efail Isaf – ‘Old Smithy’ – Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. Cosy cottage with log burner and picturesque garden and panoramic views of the National Park. Infant facilities are available.
- Efail Bach – ‘Little Smithy’ – One-bed cottage with large shower and separate large bath. Fantastic views from the bedroom, living room and garden. BBQ included. Infant facilities are available.

Imagine a Fire & Ice experience like no other! Rest and Rejuvenate peacefully in a Nordic wood-fired Sauna & Ice bath with a Scenic mountain view looking out across the Welsh Brecon Beacons National Park, also known as (Bannau Brycheiniog).
Guests can visit in many ways, camp or Glamp at Cwmdu Campsite, stay in one of our four Holiday Cottages, or stop by for an independent session.
