Journey Options
This nostalgic railway line offers a range of journey options, from a full return journey to a combination of single journeys, allowing customers to combine a walk, or longer hike, with a single journey on the train. The full return journey includes a stop at Pontsticill station, where you can take in the picturesque views and stretch your legs and a climb to the summit of the original railway line in Torpantau, high in the Brecon Beacons.
Afternoon Tea and other refreshments
Enjoy a warm welcome at either Pant Station Tea Rooms or at the charming Pontsticill Station Lakeside Cafe, which is housed in vintage railway carriages.
Another tasty option is the generous afternoon tea on offer at the Pant Station Tea Rooms, an ideal treat before or after your train journey. The afternoon tea must be booked in advance and is available on its own or paired with a scenic train ride.

HOLIDAY COTTAGES INFORMATION
4* Dog-Friendly Holiday Cottages in the Brecon Beacons, 4 miles from Crickhowell and all within 50 yards of Cwmdu Campsite.
We have 2 cosy cottages available to book:
- Efail Isaf – ‘Old Smithy’ – Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. Cosy cottage with log burner and picturesque garden and panoramic views of the National Park. Infant facilities are available.
- Efail Bach – ‘Little Smithy’ – One-bed cottage with large shower and separate large bath. Fantastic views from the bedroom, living room and garden. BBQ included. Infant facilities are available.

Imagine a Fire & Ice experience like no other! Rest and Rejuvenate peacefully in a Nordic wood-fired Sauna & Ice bath with a Scenic mountain view looking out across the Welsh Brecon Beacons National Park, also known as (Bannau Brycheiniog).
Guests can visit in many ways, camp or Glamp at Cwmdu Campsite, stay in one of our four Holiday Cottages, or stop by for an independent session.
