The time is almost upon us for another Astro Camp event at the campsite. Astro Camp September 2023 bookings are live! Bookings for April 2024 will be live in early 2024! This year’s star party takes place from September 16th – September 19th and is open to all abilities, from beginners to experts in the field of astronomy. Some of the astronomers have been visiting Cwmdu Campsite for 10 years and are always happy and enthusiastic to show beginners and other guests the marvels of the sky in the international Dark Skies site in which we find ourselves!
Astro Camp bookings all take place via the Awesome Astronomy website and there are still some pitches available to book for the September camp, (April dates live 2024 If you would like to attend the event, you can book camping or day tickets via the Awesome Astronomy website. Fun activities and quizzes for everyone to get involved are an option alongside activities focussed around getting to know each other.
Many of the astronomers opt to arrive on Friday (the day before the event starts) and this night can be booked directly via our website here.

HOLIDAY COTTAGES INFORMATION
We now have 4-holiday cottages you can book throughout the year!
Hay Loft is a newly renovated cost apartment next door to Cwmdu Campsite. It offers stunning views from the garden, an easy walk to our local pub, and is dog friendly. Perfect for solo travelers or couples.
Efail Bach is a one-bedroom cottage, also with stunning views from the garden, right next to the campsite if you have family camping, and a large comfortable bathroom with a separate bath and large shower.
Efail Isaf is a three-bedroom cottage that sleeps 6 in a quaint old-black smiths house (Old Smithy). This house has a wonderful garden for a family BBQ or sunbathing (we do some lovely weather through the summer!). It also has a log burner for cosy nights in front of the fire.
