There are plenty of great half term events around Cwmdu, to get stuck into during your stay with us! Here they are:
Sunday 28th & Monday 29th May
This two-day event offers something for the whole family. As well as the mighty giants of steam and vintage vehicles, the show has a children’s funfair, a food village, rural crafts and handicrafts, and a wealth of stands selling everything from auto jumble to garden plants and a lot of other stuff in-between.
Under 16’s free, everyone else £10 per head, no concessions
Friday 27th – Monday 29th May
Open Daily 10:30am – 5:00pm
Meet Blue the Velociraptor and other characters. The dinosaur will be making special appearances at 12:30 pm and 4 pm. Other highlights include bottle feeding, tractor rides, Mr Ev’s Show, pet handling, pony grooming and indoor and outdoor play.
Tickets must be pre-booked online.
Multi-Sport Camp for 6- 12 yrs old
Tuesday 30th – Friday 2nd June
9am – 4pm Brecon Sports Centre
Structured sports and coaching sessions delivered by the qualified coaching staff, including sports such as football, badminton, squash, table tennis, and swimming (swimming for 8 years and over only).

Free family event offering a range of fun activities for children including Inflatable slide, face painting, crafts and more.
Thursday 1st June
10:30 – 4:30 Tretower Court and Castle
Listen to stories based on historical characters, legends, and myths from across Wales. Drop in to listen to a story based on Welsh culture and heritage.
Each story can last up to 30 minutes. No booking is required. member of staff for any advice or assistance). Normal castle admission prices apply.
Return to the Forbidden Planet
1st – 4th June
Brecon Little Theatre
Join Captain Tempest and his crew aboard the Intergalactic Starship Albatross for a rock-n-roll musical adventure through hyperspace. Winner of Best New Musical Olivier award, “Return to the Forbidden Planet” is Shakespeare’s forgotten Rock and Roll masterpiece. Alongside their feature production of “Return to the Forbidden Planet” BLT are also offering Half-Term workshops free of charge and a “Launch Lunch” adventure for children and families during half term.

HOLIDAY COTTAGES INFORMATION
We now have 4-holiday cottages you can book throughout the year!
Ty Ffynon Loft is a newly renovated loft apartment next door to Cwmdu Campsite in Wales. It offers stunning views from the garden, an easy walk to our local pub, and is dog friendly. Perfect for solo travelers or couples.
Efail Bach is a one-bedroom cottage, with stunning views from the garden. A large comfortable bathroom with a separate bath, and a large shower. Located right next to the campsite if you have family camping.
Efail Isaf is a three-bedroom cottage that sleeps 6 in a quaint old-blacksmiths house (Old Smithy). This house has a wonderful garden for a family BBQ or sunbathing (we do some lovely weather through the summer!). It also has a log burner for cosy nights in front of the fire.
