Cwmdu Campsite Shop – Local Produce. Over the past 2 years, the team at Cwmdu Campsite have aimed to introduce great local products to the on-site shop. The shop is always open between 9 am – 11 am and 5 pm – 7 pm daily. Guests can pop in between these hours specifically to browse the range of products on offer.
Our aim is to transition the shop from a traditional essentials shop to an interesting cross over of a local farm shop where guests can find bread, preserves, cheeses, drinks and more on-demand.

Firstly as the Black Mountains are within sight of our campsite, we thought it would be fitting to sell coffee that is made from just over the hill. It is a deliciously fresh and perfect start to the day. Why not match your coffee with eggs from our local farm, Dolfawr, and bacon and sausages from Richard’s butchers in Crickhowell to make a great breakfast for camping in the Brecon Beacons?
To continue the breakfast theme, we now also sell set and runny honey and honeycomb from Llangattock Apiaries- a small business based in a lovely small village, just outside of Crickhowell.
The Preservation Society, based in Chepstow produce delicious sauces, preserves, jams and sirop’s that are superb accompaniments to any drink or meal! And to treat yourself further, we now also sell delicious cakes, brownies, rocky road and caramel shortbread from Clam’s Cakes, owned by Jane Phillips from the same village (Llangattock) in which the honey is produced. If you need to warm up in the rainy weather, we have homemade hot chocolate stirrers from Brecon Chocolates. All you need is hot milk (which Brecon Milk supplies to our shop)!
If you fancy a freshly pressed drink, don’t forget that we now also sell pear and apple juice from the Welsh Farmhouse in our shop. All the fruit is grown on a farm in Crickhowell!
All this and more is available in our shop, ready for your stay camping in the Brecon Beacons!
