Eat in Cwmdu & Surrounding Area

Cwmdu is the our local village, which has 'The Farmers Arms' pub. It is possible to walk to Tretower or Bwlch from our site and Llangynidr village is a five minute drive from us.

Brecon is a 20- minute drive from the campsite, has good parking and a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants

Eat In Crickhowell

Our local award-winning town, Crickhowell is a 10-minute drive away, with good parking and dogs are allowed in most places

Talgarth is a 15- minute drive from the campsite, has good parking and a selection of takeaways and pubs.

Abergavenny is a 20-minute drive from the campsite, which has good parking options and dogs are allowed in most places

HOLIDAY COTTAGES INFORMATION

4* Dog-Friendly Holiday Cottages in the Brecon Beacons, 4 miles from Crickhowell and all within 50 yards of Cwmdu Campsite.

We have 4 cosy cottages available to book:

  1. Efail Isaf – ‘Old Smithy’ – Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms.  Cosy cottage with log burner and picturesque garden and panoramic views of the National Park. Infant facilities are available.
  2. Efail Bach – ‘Little Smithy’ – One-bed cottage with large shower and separate large bath. Fantastic views from the bedroom, living room and garden. BBQ included. Infant facilities are available.
  3. The Hay Loft – Newly refurbished couples retreat. Peaceful, scenic views, private garden.
  4. Ty Ffynon – Beautifully decorated, two-bedroom house with wonderful views, log burner and free-standing bath in the main bedroom.

Imagine a Fire & Ice experience like no other! Rest and Rejuvenate peacefully in a Nordic wood-fired Sauna & Ice bath with a Scenic mountain view looking out across the Welsh Brecon Beacons National Park also known as (Bannau Brycheiniog).

Ice Bath (Cold Plunge Pool) and Nordic Wood Fired SaunaGuests can visit in many ways, camp or Glamp at Cwmdu Campsite, stay in one of our four Holiday Cottages, or stop by for an independent session.
